See You Next Tuesday

Tuesday, that day of the week that is almost Wednesday. If Wednesday is "Hump Day", then Tuesday must be "Pre-Hump Day." There really isn't that much happening here at Odom's on Tuesday. We are all saving our energies for This Friday and Saturday when "The Shiz" shows up here and cleans the wax out of our ears. Don't forget to look at their myspace

Birthday Party Wrap up

Unfortunately I missed out on Tim's Birthday party.
Everybody that was there said they had a blast. Tim gets mad props for his onion rings from everybody that was in attendance.

I'm sure that I'll be there next year.

Birthday Party Action...again

Don't forget folks that it is Tim's(Rabbit Man) birthday later on tonight. Everybody should be getting here about 3 or 4. I'm pretty sure that there is going to be a lot of food here at Odom's tonight.

Make sure you find him and wish him a happy 80th birthday. You have to almost yell, his hearing hasn't been the same since "the Nam."

Desdemona Tonight

That's right folks! Everybody's favorite party band is coming to Odom's tonight with their big fancy light show.

I won't be doing any video this weekend because the band got themselves an HD camera and a Macbook.

I'm jealous...their gear is so primo.

Unexpectedly, it is Miss Margaret's Birthday.
If you don't know Wilbur and Margaret, you must have never been to Odom's.

Thursday

So its not officially the weekend yet, but here at Odom's it is. We will be having DJ JE cranking up the "Booty Hut" and spinning the music that Century loves to grove to.

If you come in and give Pete the code word "snuffle-luf-agus", he will by you your first drink. Don't be shy.

Wednesday

So there isn't much going on at Odom's tonight, but that is soon to change. I've heard rumors that Karaoke with Kelly is going to be moved from Sunday to Wednesday nights. I believe that Kelly will be running a Karaoke Kontest some time in the future. Not sure what the prizes are going to be yet, but I'm sure that there will be something for everybody.

I plan to video the contest and spread it across the Internet.

Tomorrow Night(Thurs.) We will be having the DJ booth with Jerry Eiland. Speaking of Jerry, he's here to set up his gear for this weekend with the band.

I had a talk with 31 South's sound man and we tweaked the sound to get it to sound much better. Kenny asked me to take down last week's show and replace it with this week's video. No problem.
