Last night we had a lot of fun at Odom's Idol. Video Soon.

This weekend we  will be having a very special  mix of  Middle Ground.  I think that  Jason Crysell will be sitting in with the band.  I think that there will be others too.

Upcoming Birtydays at Odom's

This Saturday, while Middle Ground is tearing up the stage, we will be celebrating the birthday's of Dee and Jimmy.
Dee is the one and only, Dee Tullis, co-owner of this fine establishment called Odom's Bar. 
She will be celebrating her 30th Birthday.

I'm not really sure which "Jimmy" Ron was talking about, but I'm sure that he'll have fun celebrating his birthday here at Odom's.

My favorite time of the week is Ladies Night at Odom's.  It affords me the chance to strike out with all of the lovely ladies that come out for drink specials. 
Tomorrow night we have "TCK" coming to grind one out in the DJ booth.  I can't imagine how dull his nights must be. I'm pretty sure that he doesn't get all the super bouncy fun action that I get on Ladies Night. I'll bet that he doesn't strike out with half as many girls as I do. Poor fella...

Odom's Idol

Golly gee did we have fun at Odom's on Wednesday night.
We did what I like to call Odom's Idol.  Its a lot like karaoke, except you have a camera pointed at you and the embarrassment is carried over to the Internet.

Our first contestant was Melinda. You may recognize Melinda from her previous superstar fame on the Odom's stage with the band Middle Ground.

On the 8th of December we will be featuring Grayson Capps. I'm sure that this is going to be a lot of fun.  I've listened to his music on his site and have been impressed with his style.  Come on out to the show.

The following weekend on the 14th and 15th we will be featuring Thunder Nation.  Unfortunately the song that these guys have on their site is a low quality recording that you can't really tell that they are pretty darn good musicians.  Fortunately they will be stepping into the recording studio here at Odom's, and taking their rightful place among the pantheon of musicians that perform here at Odom's. 

If all goes well we'll be viewing supa dupa quality video of all three shows.

The Flomaton Speedway Championship

Boy howdy it took me a long time to get this video uploaded.  I know that all of you out in Netland been waiting a long time to watch the video of the Championship race at Flomaton Speedway that happened on November the 17th.  Well wait no longer.

The Odom's Bar 07 car was retired after the race. Before it went to the track to get all mudded up, it was displayed in front of Odom's Bar in Century, Florida.  This is video of the hood signing

So there is this kid that races up at the track.  His name is Jamie Young and he drives the 4 1/2 car. He is fifteen. He has fans that are very devoted.

Apparently mud is a valuable commodity at the track, and this guy got disqualified for having more than his share.

Wednesday Night Karaoke

Tonight at Odom's we have Karaoke with Pirate Pete.  Come on out and sing your favorite song for the crowd. 

Remember that Karaoke is not about sounding good or singing well. Its about taking advantage of the drink specials and making sure your co-workers have something to grill you about on Thursday.
Don't forget that we have $2 imports and $3.50 well drinks for the ladies.

A Night at the Races

The whole crew for the Odom's Bar Race Car is going to the track tonight and we are going to have a super shindig there.
It's also picture night and everybody will be lined up in their finest to get a picture with the racers, crew, and sponsors. 
I'll be getting video of the races tonight and should have it uploaded sometime tomorrow.

Getting Geared Up for Friday Night

Tonight we are having a special Hood signing of the Odom's Bar Race Car.  Al "The Animal" Woods has parked the car in front of the bar and has provided a brand new industrial sized permanent marker so that you, the race fan, can put your John Hancock on the car.  We will be getting video of folks signing the hood all night long.

After the car is sufficiently notarized, it will be getting muddy at the Flomaton Speedway.  This weekend is the championship at the speedway.  There will be no "heat" races. All the races will just be the "features".  Come on out and cheer Al on at the races.

Tonight for entertainment we have Middle Ground.

A couple of announcements

WOW! What a Wednesday! We had tons of ladies here for Ladies Night at Odom's Bar. We had a lot of fun singing karaoke and dancing to the hits.

Tonight we have the Superstar DJ Jerry Eiland spinning rock and booty music till the wee hours of the evening. Don't miss out!

Tomorrow, on Friday, we will be having the ceremonial hood signing of the Odom's Bar Race car. The car will be parked out in front of Odom's Bar all day long tomorrow, so that the fans can come down and sign the hood in preparation for the big championship race on Saturday. After the championship, the hood will be removed from the car and placed on display on the back patio at Odom's Bar. Come be a part of memorabilia history here at Odom's Bar.

Aside from all of the racing action, Middle Ground will be performing Friday and Saturday Night

I know that you all have been waiting a long long time for Karaoke to make its way back to Odom's for Ladies Night.  Wait no longer, because "Pirate Pete the Karaoke Master" is on the seen to make sure that you sound as good as you possible can on the mike. And while nobody is singing he'll try to play music that won't send you screaming to the parking lot.

Our Karaoke collection is growing every week, so some day we may have a song or two that you'll want to get up and embarrass yourself with.

Tonight's entertainment will be provided by Cheyenne. Their equipment is already on the stage and ready to go. This band has some interesting gear on the stage. The most interesting piece is a plexi-glass barrier around the drum set. I have no idea what purpose it may serve. I suppose that I'll ask about it when they come in.

Thats right, Ladies Night at Odom's is always a fun time. Tonight we have all the ladies in the area show up for drink specials.

Yippee its Monday!

We had a lot of fun here last night at Odom's on the back patio. We had lots guys with guitars and plenty of spicey pork chops.
If you didn't happen to make it out on Sunday for the 'jam', you will have another chance. We have plenty of free music and pork chops for everybody.

It's Sunday!!

Today at Odom's we have the "All Acoustic Back Patio Jam". We'll be having live music on the back patio at Odom's. Plus we will be having our regular "Meat-luck".
A "pot-luck" where everybody brings a covered dish, a "Meat-luck" is when we provide hot coals and everybody brings a chunk of meat to throw on it.
This week we will be grilling up plenty of Connecuh Sausage, pork chops, and maybe some bunny rabbit.

Another Fantastic Evening At Odom's

Tonight we have the return of Middle Ground.
Middle Ground will also be playing Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th. Saturday night Melinda will be running contest and give-aways. We have many great contests and prizes for everybody. So start planning now what you are going to wear to this costumed extravaganza!

We've had lots of fun in the past when Middle Ground has played here. You can even hear them in the background of this video.
